One area of illustration I started was Nate Fakes Pet Illustrations and Cartoons. I started it as a way to provide high-quality pet illustrations to customers and help animal shelters/rescues by donating 20% of the profits.
Simply browse through the different options at the bottom of this page, enter the amount of the item and then send me a hi-resolution photo of your pet for me to go off of for your illustration at nate_fakes@hotmail.com. I will get back with you ASAP about when I plan on having it completed along with some additional information.

1. 8"X10" HI-RES JPG IMAGE
WHAT YOU'LL GET: Send in a hi-resolution photo of your pet and I'll illustrate it using black India ink and then digitally color it. From there, I'll send you out a hi-res jpg file that is sized for an 8"x10" print. You can send it off to Walgreens, CVS or anywhere and have it printed out. This is the cheapest option.
COST: $85 (20% of the profit is donated)
2. 8"X10" HI-RES JPG IMAGE, ORIGINAL LINE ART AND SIGNED 8"X10" PRINT
WHAT YOU'LL GET: This is the whole package. You will get emailed a hi-res jpg image of your pet so you can print it or send it anywhere. Also, you will receive the original line art (NOTE: Line art is drawn in India ink and is black and white) and a signed 8"x10" print. Shipping is already factored into the cost.
COST: $125 (Shipping is included in price and 20% of the profit is donated)
3. ORIGINAL 9"X12" WATERCOLOR
WHAT YOU'LL GET: I will paint your pet with water colors and you will get the original art sent to you. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind piece of art to hang in your home that you and your pet will enjoy!
COST: $150 (Shipping is included in price and 20% of the profit is donated)
4. CUSTOM CARTOON FEATURING YOUR PET
WHAT YOU'LL GET: I'll create a custom panel cartoon based off your pet! I'll work with you on a good joke and/or premise until we find something that is fitting. I'll send you a rough sketch as well. Once approved, I'll ink the comic and digitally color it. You'll receive the hi-res jpg of the comic along with a signed print. (NOTE: Comic is for personal use ONLY. Not for publication.)
COST: $175 (Shipping is included in price and 20% of the profit is donated)
ORDER:
To order, simply enter the amount of the option you choose, send me a hi-res image of your pet that you would like me to illustrate (NOTE: I base all images EXACTLY off the picture you send in) and indicate what animal/shelter you would like the 20% to go to.
